Make friendly for special needs children. My kids can't keep up with their peers but are too old for the events they'd enjoy.

Reopen/rebuild Noble Library. Other libraries I use (Redford, Plymouth) have more "new books", displayed more invitingly.

Ask the community "what are you needs/wants/dreams (not necessarily tied to library use)?" Then develop initiatives around emerging themes.

Fireplace area with comfortable chairs. Give opportunities for starting book clubs. Offered more times poetry & creative writing classes

A more friendly staff would be nice

Have homeschool programs and/or spaces...places where home school families can connect and share resources

I would love to see self checkout scanners like Canton library has. Recently moved from Canton & was disappointed Livonia didn't have them

Have scooters or bikes for even handicap people and rides to and from the library all through Livonia, Lockers & food/drinks in library bldg

Children, teens, and adults with disabilities need dedicated time, programming, space, materials, and books that meet their needs.

As a retiree I don’t use the library. When my daughters were under the age of 12, the civic center library was an important place.
